L\u2019aquaculture multitrophique int\u00e9gr\u00e9e (AMTI) est consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme une approche int\u00e9ressante pour le d\u00e9veloppement durable de l\u2019aquaculture. Il s\u2019agit d\u2019un concept de polyculture d\u2019esp\u00e8ces d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat aquacole, bas\u00e9 sur la conversion des d\u00e9chets azot\u00e9s des \u00e9levages par d\u2019autres esp\u00e8ces extractives.<\/p>\n

Le principe du syst\u00e8me de l\u2019AMTI est la conception d’une chaine alimentaire artificielle et dynamique qui permet \u00e0 une esp\u00e8ce de trouver toujours une source de nourriture dans les d\u00e9chets d’une autre esp\u00e8ce. Par rapport \u00e0 l’aquaculture classique monosp\u00e9cifique, cette innovation permettra de r\u00e9duire autant que possible l’impact environnemental de cette activit\u00e9 aquacole. Les d\u00e9chets provenant des poissons (cages flottantes) qui sont au sommet de la chaine trophique, y compris ceux des aliments non consomm\u00e9s, seront extraits par les filtreurs (mollusques\u00a0: Exp\u00a0: moule, huitre) moules, les macro-algues absorbait les d\u00e9chets inorganiques dissous g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9s par l’exploitation aquacole. Des organismes benthiques (Exp\u00a0: oursins, holothuries) se nourrissent de la mati\u00e8re organique du s\u00e9diment. Ce \u00ab recyclage \u00bb de nutriments aquacoles permettrait non seulement une r\u00e9duction des d\u00e9chets dans l\u2019\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me marin, mais aussi de produire des esp\u00e8ces de haute valeur \u00e9conomique qui in fine <\/em>am\u00e9liore la rentabilit\u00e9 \u00e9conomique des fermes aquacoles. Ce double b\u00e9n\u00e9fique constitue l’originalit\u00e9 et l’innovation de ce syst\u00e8me.<\/p>\n

Le projet \u00ab Promouvoir et d\u00e9velopper une aquaculture multi-trophique durable et int\u00e9gr\u00e9e \u00bb \u00ab PATINER \u00bb fait partie du programme IEV de Coop\u00e9ration Transfrontali\u00e8re Italie \u2013 Tunisie, 2014 \u2013 2020 Premier Projet Standard.<\/p>\n

Le projet a un budget de 1 192710,33 Euros dont 90% (soit 1073439,30 euros) est une contribution du Programme IEV CTF Italie-Tunisie. Sa dur\u00e9e est de 30 mois (ao\u00fbt 2020 \u2013 d\u00e9cembre 2022).<\/p>\n
